FlapSwap, documented.

FlapSwap moves tokens between chains — into BNB Chain by default — and lets you name the wallet that receives them. Here's everything you need to know before your first swap.

What is FlapSwap

FlapSwap is a route aggregator — not a bridge of its own. When you move funds between chains, we ask several major bridges for a live quote at the same time and route you through whichever one pays out the most.

You always land on the best available price, and our platform fee is 0%. We don't move liquidity ourselves — we make the bridges compete and hand you the winner.

How it works

  1. STEP 01

    Pick where it comes from

FlapSwap starts on Base and, once your wallet is connected, follows the network it is on. Choose any supported chain and token to send. Nothing moves without your approval.

  2. STEP 02

Choose where it lands, and in which wallet

BNB Chain with its native coin is preselected as the destination; pick any other chain or token instead. Leave the landing wallet as your own, or name any address on the destination chain and type its last four characters to confirm it. We compare every route and pick the best automatically — you don't have to pick a bridge.

  3. STEP 03

    Sign once, watch it land

Confirm in your wallet and follow the swap until it lands — usually within seconds to a couple of minutes.

How the routing is reported

FlapSwap does not publish which routing providers it uses, and the interface never names one. Each route that can fill your swap is listed by rank — Route 01, 02, 03 — with what it pays out, how long it takes and its fee, and the one taken is marked Best. The margin over the worst quote is stated as a number rather than asserted as a claim.

Routing

Every swap is priced across each available route at the same time, and the best payout is taken automatically — highest guaranteed minimum first. Providers are never named in the interface; routes appear only by rank.

For some amounts or chain pairs a route may not be available: very small transfers can fall below a minimum, and not every route serves every pair. Those simply do not enter the comparison, and the number of routes actually priced is what the app reports.

Supported chains

Swap from any of these chains to any other, in either direction. Which tokens each one can send or receive:

ChainGasTokens
BNB ChainBNBBNB, USDC

Gas & signing

The transaction always runs on the chain you send from, so that is where gas is paid, in that chain's own coin — ETH on Ethereum and the rollups, BNB on BNB Chain, SOL on Solana.

Heads up · gas on the source chain

When you send the chain's own coin, the amount and the gas come out of the same balance, so MAX leaves a little behind. Sending a token still needs some of the native coin for gas. FlapSwap checks this before you confirm and tells you if you're short — so you never get stuck mid-transfer.

A swap from an EVM chain is signed by your connected EVM wallet; a swap from Solana is signed by a Solana wallet. When the destination is Solana, name the Solana wallet that should receive the funds.

What it costs

0.00%

FlapSwap charges a 0.00% platform fee. You only ever pay the winning route's own fee plus network gas.

Because we always route you through the best option, swapping through FlapSwap costs the same as or less than going to that bridge directly.

Security & trust

  • Your funds move through established third-party bridge and swap protocols — widely used, not risk-free.
  • Non-custodial — we never hold or touch your funds at any point.
  • Every transaction requires your explicit wallet confirmation. Nothing happens without your signature.
  • No account, no email, no profile. Each swap is recorded against the wallet that paid, so it shows up in your activity — and nothing else about you is asked for.

Common questions

Is BNB Chain the only destination?
No. BNB Chain is preselected, but either side can be any supported chain — pick another one under "You receive", or flip the swap.
Which tokens can I swap?
ETH and USDC, plus the native coins BNB and SOL, on the chains that hold them. You can receive a different asset than you send — ETH in, BNB out — and USDC arrives on Robinhood Chain as USDG (Global Dollar).
Can the funds land in a different wallet?
Yes — that is the point. Set the landing wallet to any address on the destination chain and the funds land there instead of in the wallet you paid from. Both chains are still public ledgers, and amounts and timing can link the two legs: this is separation, not anonymity.
How long does it take?
Usually seconds; some routes take a minute or two. The app follows the swap until it lands.
What happens if a bridge fails?
When a route cannot fill your swap it refunds to your wallet on the origin chain, and the app tells you when that happened. A sent transaction cannot be reversed, so send a small amount first to any new destination.
